The newest addition to my family is a rescue puppy! Her name is Ahsoka, and she is a husky mix. She is my second dog with Vader (yes, like Darth Vader), and he is a German Shorthair Pointer mix. I spent several years after college living and working with in Japan teaching English in kindergarten, elementary, and junior high schools. After returning to the states, I earned my Master's Degree and Dual Certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Hofstra University. I moved to Raleigh, NC in the Fall of 2017 with my sister where I lived and taught kindergarten for two years before moving to Aurora, CO in the summer of 2019, where I have continued teaching kindergarten in public and private schools.
